Flat keys close together is a huge fail for fast thumb typing (looks despairingly at the N5). Why can't they make a keyboard like the OQO had?
You should learn the difference between "its" and "it's"
The design is ok, no eyecatcher though.I agree on the keyboard issue.Plastic on housing looks a bit cheap (no, I'm not a fan of glossy look).
ITS overpriced anyway.
:P
I like that it's a UMPC but the specs are very underwhelming especially at that price.
i have this, its ok, keyboard should have been bigger aka Eking s515, and camera is tilted to the left so to put oneself in picture whole device needs to be tilted to the right. It does not sell for US$800, US$650 it can be found quite easily.
As for specs i have both s515 and m5 both are very fast no lag whatsoever. atom 1.2ghz with 1gb ram is enough.
Battery will last a full 4hr with wifi and BT on, S515 goes for 2 1/2 hrs.
GPS works a charm too i tested, mine on win7
Its design, its thumb keyboard, its specs.
Not "it's" which means "it is" or "it has".
Err, the apostrophe as used by JKK in "it's" shows possession. Do a little research (or attend 2nd grade) before trying to correct someone's grammar. BTW, see how I used the apostrophe in "someone's".
@Both Anonymous
Both of you should learn Finnish or another language before correcting someone else's grammar of a non-native langauge.
@Epyon
They are correct and you are wrong. The word "it's" is a contraction of "it is" or "it has" while "its" is a possessive pronoun. The 's in someone's is different from the 's in it's. Maybe you should go back to 2nd grade yourself.
Anyway, I wouldn't pay $650 USD for this. If it had more drive space then maybe.
Niiiice ... tight ! but the price is out of the question..
They seem to be headed in the right direction though .. Love the slide tilt!
Is there any other device, more or less like this?
What I'm looking for is a device
5"-8" touchscreen display
that you can wear in a jacket like a wallet (Samsung Galaxy Tab size is ok)
that has a full hardware QWERTY-keyboard (slider or fold out etc.)
that supports 3G, so you can use it for SMS and email
preferably using Android (other OS ok aswell)
If anybody knows of a device like that, I'd be very happy.
