Those new home tablets are not yet here at CeBIT but Archos 9 is.. with new cpu;
It is upgraded to 1.2Ghz which doesn't sound much but features like hyper threading, better gpu and faster bus are going to help a bit.. still with slow 1.8 inch HD thou..
Archos rep was also talking about future ( not here now but maybe after summer ) upgrades including words capacitive and 3G..

Lots of bad reviews at amazon, update is needed
THANK GOD!! I had one pre-ordered and canceled due to reports of the sluggishness, even though I planned on putting Ubuntu on it, but I would like the option of Windows 7 without wait times being a nuisance.
Now... I have to reconsider what I want: Upgraded Archos 9 or the Notion Ink Adam. I don't think I would be a fan of the capacitive touch screen upgrade. Any comments?
This Update is for nothing. Still slow HD inside.
can jkk could you upgrade hard drive with runcore hard drive see if it works better ????
I think the H/W is okay, the software is simply not tweaked at all. Mine runs well now, thanks to the forums...
