Too bad it's uglier than the Viliv N5.

Just comparing JKK's videos of the UMID BZ and Viliv N5, it's obvious that he's disappointed with the UMID and really likes the Viliv. Unfortunately for UMID, I'm sure there are a lot of people who are going to base their purchase decision on what JKK says.

It's not even just what JKK says. The starting price point for this device is $150 higher than that of the N5. It has less ram, and is much more limited in terms of usablility.

If only it had a track stick instead of an optical mouse.

In addition to that, consider the fact that if memory serves, the m2 was announced to have more ram and a bigger ssd too.

What was delivered was an m1 with a usb port and an uglier paintjob.

You do realize that Viliv hasn't even released or put up a pre-order page for anything yet. So, you can't say it has better specs or is cheaper. Who knows, maybe they'll do a UMID and release a 1.33 GHz CPU with 512 MB RAM at $599.99 in March. You can't really believe what CES booth guys say about the specs and price of the final product.

I suppose this is a good point. It'll still have looks going for it though. :p

Yeah but there is no video out at all on the Viliv N5 so no way to give presentations or link to an external display so it's not an option for me.
