Looks pretty nice. Could be the solution for the lack of hardware-keyboard-equipped android phones on the market lately.
One question - did you teach the software to write "jkkmobile" before, or did it work on the first try? How do you write double letters, like "kk" in "jkk"?
Had to type jkkmobile letter by letter first.. kk happends when u srible a bit or make any kind of double turn on the key you want to dublicate
In SlideIT you don't need to type twice on double letters, you just slide on it once.
for example "hello" - you just slide from 'h' to 'e' to 'l' to 'o' and when you lift your finger SlideIT recognized the word "hello".

@Robert, Swype works better than slideIT. especially for people that need to switch between different languages a lot as you can change the locale from withing the keyboard.
I have tested some application for Android in the past and I have found some issues that I report to the developers so they can fix them. I would like to test this swype!
Great informative post. I have a question though; is a data plan absolutely necessary? If I plan on only using wifi (where available), could I just keep my regular rogers plan with an unlocked G1?
