Somebody at Viliv probably realized that it would hurt their sales of the newly-released S5 to announce another version so soon.
Milk the S5 sales for all their worth, THEN offer another model.
I think having too many versions will confuse consumers. Just like the Asus eeePC: 22 models! I went shopping for one, and got so confused that I decided not to buy.
no Atom? is it 1024x600 at least?
The Viliv is subject to a non disclosure agreement I bet. So they will have shown it, but not allowed any reporting.

If it is still in development, maybe it is not too late for them to ditch the joystick and put in an optical mouse (ala Everun).
I would already have bought an S-5 except for the joystick.
What's the size? What's the weight of the Inventec device?

Glad to see a webcams on it unlike the OQO 02+.
sorry what cpu , gpu this device have? im no english speaker and i thought ive heard something about 3d performance and everun comparison, so can you pls clarify? right now I like this device more than most shown, nice battery life, keyboard layout, 3g, gps, wifi, bt, size is big for a phone apparently, but still looks promising if the price is right.
