Its good to see one of the early netbook pioneers looking at the snapdragon platform.

I'm looking foward to see if anyone is showing snapdragon mids at computex, something like the UMID, Aigo or S5 but with snapdragon and allways connected radios would be the next step in the mid world i hope.

speed looked quite acceptable, altho i guess flash content will be a issue (tho that may change in the future as just about every major browser except IE is implementing HTML5 video support using ogg formats).

Make that an ion netbook with multi-touch screen! (not just touchscreen and multitouch trackpad)

Won't the new bluetooth tech be a viable alternative to always-on 3g? If you're near a bluetooth+wifi router, it should be possible to automatically and seamlessly switch between just bluetooth for batterylife, and bluetooth+wifi for transfer speed, so you should be able to stay always on without running the wifi radio...

I really want to be able to use the always-online stuff, even while on standby, without having to rely on 3g for incomming skype calls if I'm right near a wifi router...

Adobe announced that there will be FLASH support for ARM on Linux (didn't they)? Is it ready yet?

The Eee netbook looks like a V-Tech laptop for adults. LOL... It's quite amusing to use though.
