Just curious, fellow browsers, I would choose the Asus Eee 1000HE above the rest, at least, it seemed to be the 1000HE..
Eh netbooks only last for 3 hours de MSI maybe? Sorry not for the Samsung NC10 (5-6 hours with wi-fi on) and the Asus eee pc 1000HE for sure 6-7 hours (with wi-fi on) and also the new samsung n110 will have about 6-7 hours battery time (with wi-fi on).
Battery ONLY lasts for 3 hours? A) That statement is false. B) I haven't seen a full size laptop that did last for 3 hours without an extended battery. Are they trying to kill netbook sales?
What? Too slow to photoshop? I'm glad they told me that! I've been photoshopping on my netbooks since I had them! I must be using a fake photoshop. I'm so glad I had a reputable source like the NYT to tell me that. They could have saved me from actually being productive and squeezing every bit out of something that's so small and cheap.
Another example of marketing people away from net book or just pure incompetence.

the atom is more powerful than some of the pentium 4s.
certainly runs photoshop well.
