haha screws over srews, i did it 4 times on my asus 900´s devices i wont do it anymore, just wait for t91 or t101 or may a gigabyte? ;-)

Anyone think that it's possible to also build in a hinge, and get a super-duper T101 type device?

It would be really hard to put swivel hinge to any Eee PC...
The main problem is that the hinge would need to be where the battery is.
It would be easier with a netbook that has thin battery on the center/bottom of it..
Yea.. The swivel idea's been beaten to death on some EEEPC forum. No one's been able to do it.

I have heard that the touchscreens make the screen dimmer and more blurry. Have you noticed this to any great extent? I have also seen some people peeling off the anti glare coating, to me this looks a bit risky and dangerous, but i would be willing to attempt it if I could find some reliable testimonials. Thanks for any input!!

Yes, touch pane dims the screen a bit, about 10%.
I have not find it worth the risk to peel of the anti glare film.
I compensate it with eeectl. Eeectl can make brightness a lot higher than original.
will the webcam work after the instalation?
i will use the power of the webcam to the touchscreen...

I have a hoda TS coming and am anxious to install it. A couple questions:
1. I read in a different thread that this mod may provide multi-touch; http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t-218872 Anyone have any experience with that?
2. I thought that I have seen somewhere in XP where you can enable Tablet profile. Is that desirable and if so, how do you do it?

Wow that touch screen mod looks really great! Do you think it's possible to do this to a 1008ha too? I've got one but maybe the screen is to thin so there maybe isn't enough space?

I want to do the same with my 1101HA, but I don't find a touch screen with that size (11.6") in no place!
Does anyone know where I can get one?

Apart from that, does anyone know where I can get tablet PC or touch screen netbooks cases?
Once I convert my 1101 with the touch screen, I want a case that permits the screen to pivot.
