Guys at VentureBeat are testing Android on Asus Eee PC 1000. They got all base stuff like graphics and wifi working in few hours, so it sounds like doable job...
Is there point running Android on 10 inch screen x86 hardware is another thing..
I think Android is better on a pocketable or smaller ARM based devices. I would prefer full desktop OS on bigger devices...
It's still good to have options.. Let's see where this is going..

Hi JKK, What is the part number to upgrade my primary 901 SSD using runcore? I want to upgrade both on my primary and secondary SSD to get full big capacity.
hi
you can't upgrade the primary 4 gb,because this is soldered.
secondary ssd:at the mydigitaldiscount you can select models for your 901

i think android is not such a hit for that devices just only for smaller ones.
but it is nice to see that it is possible
deryler,
No my primary SSD not soldered is 50mm SSD and my secondary is 70mm SSD, both are removable.
oh :)
I think JKK can help you :D
Well, the Eee PC hardware certainly looks better than the G1!
I've recently got a Touch HD and I'm hoping they can get Android running on that. I certainly wouldn't have bought a G1, it's awful. I thought about iPhone for a while, but... it's just too twee.
The T-Mobile G1 is a great device, I own one and it is the best smart phone out by a mile!
So where is the download or instructions? gonna keep it to yourselves? its open source dont be like that.
Yeah seriously, I think quite a few people want it as a download to run on our pc's including me. I wonder if you can run it on an overclocked i7........
Android will be perfect for me on my Eee 901...
Waiting till someone makes a Android installer for Asus EeePC 901...
