with a higher price tag too, looks like it's moving toward more like a regular size lappy.
Oh goody, I'd pay $699 = 450 € (32 GB SSD model) if I got something like that! 10" screen in 1 kg laptop! Coffee brown doesn't look too appealing but white would be nice. I only dislike the glossy chassis. :|
i would get that if it was 8.9" screen
but id rather way for a dual core atom
anyone know when that will be on its way to US? Man just so many choices to choose from. The dual core atom would be great.
Maybe the S91 has a 8.9" screen
Does it have 3G?
Exactly, Asus is trying to move away from the cheap laptop idea.
JKK, I dont mean to be disrespectful but im starting to feel your being biased towards ASUS.. First "How Big is Small" article, then those scary Acer CF HD replacement photos, this week the ugly battery display, and now s101 which you would (or should) normally consider too big.
Please tell me im wrong and you are neutral towards all mobile brands/devices (including Aspire One)..
So far it seems as if only the HP Mininote has 1280x768 resolution.
>England
I think Asus just want to expand product area.
Yes I do agree, although if they are going to do this, then my humble opinion is to move away from the EEE brand name, as this was supposed to be a name that meant cheap and easy computing. But I do see your point!
Of course I also agree that asus don't try to make eee-products so much cheaper otherwise concurrents.
it is too big for me..
..but others may want to see it.
I wonder if the volume of the S101 is less than the PC901? The S101 looks a lot thinner and not that much wider...
Why don't we see this thing open? Does it have a stonkin' great bezel like the AspireOne?
