so with 4400 mah battery.. thats 4 hours battery life (if u assume 901 is a 6 hours device)

The cheap batteries don't fit! The Voltage of the 900a is the same as from the 901 (12V)http://asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=2440&l1=24&l2=164&l3=0&l4=0. The 701 - 900 have 7.4V.
@Anonymous : According to the same product sheets, the 900 is supposed to have the same 12V voltage, and its battery is compatible with the 701, so I wouldn't worry too much about that...

@kola, good call.. yea that has a big space on the bezel.. must be a 8.9" on the 1000h body.
Almost missed this one! For some reason the front page shows "Asus R50A UMPC available for pre-orders" as the latest entry and *none* of the entries after that. I only noticed these newer entries via the product pages' "JKKMobile News" box!
Something's broken somewhere...
Looks very sleek, prefer it over the 901. However, I still feel 8.9inch screen is a little too small so I am going for the 1000.
