Dynamism has just released Asus Eee PC 8G for sales. It will be available in both black and white, with 1Gb ram, mid-to late December at $499.

There is no word yet about the SSD drive location, is it attached to pci-e slot or soldered to mainboard like in 4G model.
With 8Gb SSD and 1Gb ram it will be much better for XP.
