No LED backlight in Q1b
These images show that Samsung Q1b has normal lcd with inverter. LED backlighted screens don't use inverters.

This image shows the place for hsdpa module.
And this shows VIA C7-M cpu and the gpu.
So it seems that Samsung just did a great job making it's battery life so good.

UMPC with dual external screens, vista with aero
take asus t83 umpc,
add these:
(pcmcia/pciexpress adapter and asus xg station)
and you could run vista with aero on dual external screens.
